4. “Adversarial systems – Do they have a future post COVID?”
5. “Judicial accountability – New developments and threats”.
6. “Sports law post COVID – Lawyers’ responsibilities to athletes, organisers, sponsors, and governments”.
7. “Human reproductive rights: Can the law keep pace with science?”
8. “Child brides and legalized marital rape – A Commonwealth tragedy”.
9. “Online media giants may be “too big to care”—But can the law make them care?”
10. “Detention in the Commonwealth : Increasing numbers, decreasing rights”.
11. “Freedom of religion and the right to faith-based discrimination in education and employment”.

The CLC welcomes expressions of interest in speaking at the conference where we will explore these diverse issues under the over-arching conference theme of “Commonwealth lawyers – common challenges in uncommon times”.

A key date in the legal calendar, we are keen to welcome colleagues from the South African legal fraternity to the speaking faculty for this prestigious biennial event.
