Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) Co-chairperson Busani Mabunda, met with a delegation from the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) in Pretoria at the end of May. The FIDH delegation, which was led by its president – exiled Iranian human rights lawyer, Advocate Karim
Lahidji – paid a courtesy visit to the LSSA and other government institutions and
civil society organisations to introduce the organisation’s new office in South Africa. FIDH inaugurated its office which is based with the Lawyers for Human Rights’ (LHR) new office in Pretoria. LHR is the South African member of FIDH.
