We would like to inform you that the SADC Lawyers Association EXCO and Council have made a decision to host the Annual Conference of General Meeting (ACGM) for the year 2025 from Maputo, Mozambique to Windhoek, Namibia, due to the ongoing unrest in Maputo.

The new venue for the conference will be the Windhoek Country Club in Windhoek, Namibia, from 30th July to 1st August 2025.

For your convenience, we have attached the brochure, flyer and registration form. We sincerely hope you will be able to join us for this important event and look forward to your attendance and participation.

SADC-LA and the SADC-PF , kindly invites you to register to attend a consultative discussion on the Draft Model Law on Public Financial Management (PFM) which is scheduled for 17th of March 2022 at 10:00 CAT. The overarching objective is to ensure that national parliaments are enabled to conduct their legislative budgetary and oversight functions for PFM to be transparent, efficient and responsive to the needs of SADC citizens.

Please find attached, concept note, programme, registration link and the draft model law on PFM. Attendees are expected to read through the model law as the meeting will be an interactive discussion.
