In April the United Cricket Club together with the Law Society of South Africa held a dinner to honour National Democratic Lawyers Association (NADEL) honorary member, Silas Nkanunu. The dinner was also held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the United Cricket Club.
Among the dignitaries who attended the event were Judge in the Western Cape High Court, Vincent Saldanha; Mayor of Port Elizabeth, Danny Jordaan; and Deputy Chairperson of the National Forum on the Legal Profession, Max Boqwana.
