Webber Wentzel recognised as South Africa’s Law Firm of the year

Webber Wentzel started the year on a good note when the company was announced as the winner of the South Africa Law Firm of the Year category in the Chambers Africa Awards 2021. The firm shared the good news through a statement in January. Senior Partner at the firm Christo Els, was quoted saying that the recognition is a fantastic accomplishment and a wonderful start to 2021. ‘Thank you to our clients and other market participants for taking time to provide feedback to Chambers and for trusting us with their matters across the continent,’ said Mr Els.

Managing Partner at Webber Wentzel, Sally Hutton, added that: ‘The awards received, not only by ourselves but also by our key partner firms in Africa reiterate the value of our flexible Pan-African model. Working with the best firms, we are able to provide our clients with an unmatched quality of service’.

The Chambers Africa Awards honours the achievements of law firms across the African continent. The statement added that the winners are selected based on client feedback and extensive research for the Chambers Global Guide and the winners are recognised for their outstanding work across each jurisdiction.
